As a Senior Research and Innovation Consultant, I partner with clients to understand their business needs, help synthesize what they already know and identify gaps in knowledge. I enjoy leveraging practical models and creatively adapting them to address the specific business problem.
As a daughter of entrepreneurs in the government contracting space, I had a diverse, bi-coastal upbringing, living in both Sierra Vista, Arizona and Herndon, Virginia. I had an enriched HBCU experience at South Carolina State University, earning a BS in Business Management and obtained an MBA concentrated in Marketing and Strategy from Purdue University. My career began in Consumer and Market Knowledge at The Procter and Gamble Company. My career has spanned both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, with expertise in Ethnic insights, Shopper, Global Innovation, and market forecasting. My 16-year career has been largely on the client side with advancing roles in various industries- CPG, Automotive, Real Estate, and Information Technology.
My theme song is “Golden” by Jill Scott. It expresses those things most important to me in life- self-love, community uplift, and living OUT LOUD.
Recently, I had the opportunity to co-facilitate a session for teenage young ladies around the topic of maturing as a woman of color. This was a great opportunity to share what wisdom I have gained personally, professionally, and spiritually. Most impactful to me was the courage, conviction, and confidence demonstrated by the young ladies. As we spent the day together, I felt not only inspired but hopeful about the next generation of leaders and game changers. The power of cross-generational mentorship and sharing cannot be overlooked. I find a personal responsibility to make meaningful contributions that will build productive communities.
