What do you do?
Above all, I love learning about people and what drives their choices. With my background in economics, analytics, innovation, and brand management, I try to bring these multiple perspectives into my projects to get at the heart of the problem and drive solutions that work for consumers and brands.
What's your background?
Originally from Wisconsin, I escaped to the south to study economics at the College of Charleston around the height of the time of Seinfeld. Marquette University persuaded me to come back to The Good Land to get my Masters in Applied Economics, leading to a career at Miller Brewing Company. Over more than a decade of selling beer, I worked in analytics, forecasting, consumer insights, innovation, and brand management. For the last 5 years, I’ve worked as a market researcher, studying humans across a wide range of industries.
Favorite book, quote or song?
“Let everything happen to you: beauty and terror.
Just keep going. No feeling is final.”
-Rainer Maria Rilke
Something you’ve found inspiring?
For the last three years I’ve ended every day by writing a few things I’m grateful for. This is one of the best habits I’ve ever picked up.
