Branding Maestro
What do you do?
I lead our Brand Strategy practice, a lean but mean team that builds differentiated brand positionings, new product concepts and big ideas for brands, all created through the lens of a rich and relevant human insight and tension.
What's your background?
Growing up in Pittsburgh amongst a family of sports fanatics, I emerged as the creative, intuitive one marching to a bit of a different beat. My greatest loves are the relationships with those closest to me, just being with my wife and kids and having meaningful conversations with close friends. With the kids out of the house now, my wife and I are rediscovering the freedom and joys of traveling, going with the flow and lots of laughter. When your kids are good, you’re good.
I have 29 years of brand-building experience, 23 of which were with Procter & Gamble, including 10 years as the VP and Brand Leader for the global Skin Care business and Olay brand. During my P&G days, I developed a love for brand-building, innovation, design and transforming strategies into inspiring IDEAS that excite consumers and retailers. SEEK is a second chapter for me and a perfect fit - a creative, passionate and relational place where I can focus on what I love to do, helping our clients build stronger brands and develop new irresistible ideas.

Something you’ve found inspiring?
My students at Xavier University! (I am an Adjunct Professor of Brand Strategy). I have found a renewed personal purpose over the last few years teaching excellent young people the fundamentals of brand strategy from a real world perspective. I love seeing the students soar. They have given me much more hope for the future of our country and its workforce.
