What do you do?

I wear many hats in my role and no two days are the same. In short, I’m a champion for SEEK and my daily “job” is to manage, develop and oversee my client accounts and relationships.

This “job” shows up in a variety of different ways. You may see me deliver a capability presentation, speak at a conference, ideate new SEEK methodologies, manage or develop SEEK staff, design a proposal to meet client objectives, or lead consumer research.

Regardless of what my “job” is for that day, my responsibility is simply to ensure SEEK and our employees provide excellence to my client accounts with every encounter.

What's your background?

I grew up in a “Party of 5” (but not the one with Jennifer Love Hewitt) from Sunbury, Ohio (7 cornfields away from Columbus, OH) and have spent time in Detroit, MI and Philadelphia, PA and am now happy to make Cincinnati, OH my home (along with my wife).

I’ve held a myriad of roles within Creative and Marketing Agencies as well as manually repaired every part of an automobile (thanks Dad), was a Division 1 college athlete (thanks Brother), cook a lot - and from scratch (thanks Mom), led a children’s ministry at church (thanks Jesus) and was featured in GQ Magazine for winning a mixology competition (thanks college debt).

Something you’ve found inspiring?

The woman in my photo is Carmela Anna (DeFelice) Renzetti - my maternal grandmother and the matriarch of our family. She passed away in 2004 at the age of 93. She was an amazing human and she truly lived by the Golden Rule and was my best example of how Jesus commands us to live – through a lens of love, compassion and empathy, to everyone, no matter who they are.

A little over a year after she passed I realized that there weren’t any family members left to carry on the Renzetti name. Whenever my mom and her siblings pass on, the Renzetti name (in our family) would be gone.

This name always meant more to me. It was something that I was always proud to be associated with because of the values that Carmela helped instill in us through her faith in Jesus, while also being proud of the legacy that this “only” 5th grade educated immigrant left behind. It’s a name and a family that has built part of my identity and a large part of my personality that I’m proud to say, “yeah, that’s me. And I like it.” It’s a name that I never wanted to die.

So, in June of 2005, with my family's blessing, I legally had my last name changed from ‘Voit’ to ‘Renzetti-Voit’. I added the ‘Renzetti’ name to hopefully have offspring that will be proud to carry it on as well.
